Funäsfjällen Golf Club
Sweden's oldest mountain golf course!
In the neighboring village of Ljusnedal lies Funäsfjällens Golf Club, founded in 1973. The club features 18 enchanting golf holes, a driving range, and breathtaking views. The first nine holes were designed by Nils Sköld, while the back nine were the work of Sune Linde. If you haven't yet played a course by either of these renowned course architects, this is your chance! Or better yet—try Funäsfjällens GK, which many consider to be their crown jewel.
Here, a successful blend of parkland, forest, and seaside-style golf has been created—without feeling the least bit artificial. The holes aren’t especially long like modern championship courses, making them suitable for players of all levels. At nearly 600 meters above sea level, the surrounding mountain peaks add an extra dimension to your round.
