Knowledge and etiquette for mountain bikers

Take care of nature!

Adventure, and Safety Cycling offers both great fun and a fantastic way to experience nature. However, it’s important to stay informed about the rules, prioritize safety, and take personal responsibility. Below, you’ll find the key points to keep in mind for a safe and enjoyable ride.

- Respect nature. Do not disturb animals and nature. Do not litter, nature is sensitive.

- Own responsibility. Choose trails based on your own knowledge and experience. Cycle with judgment.

- Adjust your speed. Make sure you can stop at unexpected obstacles. The surface can change in different weather conditions.

- Show consideration for others. Slow down when meeting and overtaking. Anyone approaching from above/behind has the duty to give way.

- Only cycle on marked trails. Follow the signs.

- Helmets are mandatory in Tänndalen Bike Park. Take care of yourself and your head.

- Mountain etiquette: Adapt your ride to your daily fitness level and be honest with yourself. Dress appropriately. If you are unsure, it is best to ask someone experienced. Finally, always check your bike before the ride. Make sure the wheels spin and are secure. Double-check the chain, tires and handlebars. Finally, test the brakes before you set off to make sure the brakes are working properly.
