Work from the mountains in Tänndalen January 4–18, 2026

In January we open up the Fjällifrån days in Tänndalen – a couple of weeks where you can take your work to the mountains (if you want) and at the same time have time to think bigger. Come up when it suits you between January 4–18. Stay for a week, or why not two? If you want to come for a shorter period, there is a weekend (Thursday-Sunday) or short week (Sunday-Thursday) to choose from. Here there is room for both work, personal development, skiing and a nice time with family, friends and new acquaintances.

From the mountains is about combining productive work and your own development with the peace of mountain life. To provide space for focus, recovery and reflection, but also to meet, exchange experiences and talk about things that actually matter to you as an individual. With the vastness of the mountains as a backdrop, you get distance from everyday life and a clearer view of the future.

Do I have to work?

You are of course warmly welcome here to maximize your skiing, hang out with friends or to combine wonderful hours outdoors with personal development. Take the opportunity to bring family and friends and make your own combo of possible work, development and cozy mountain time with loved ones and new acquaintances.

What does a day look like?

Work alternates with rides on freshly groomed slopes, conversations by the fire, crispy waffles, and evening activities for those who want to. Maybe you take an early meeting from the cabin, ride a couple of lovely hours on the slopes or cross-country trail before taking a couple of productive hours of work and then rounding off the day with exciting conversations with new acquaintances.

Where can I sit and work?

We do not have dedicated office spaces with us, but believe that you are most creative when you change workplaces during the day and between ski trips. During the Fjällifrån days, the entire Tänndalen valley is your workplace and you are welcome to work wherever you want. In Toppstugan, in our cozy cafes, in the chairlift or on the couch.

How does it work?

You come up and live with us in Tänndalen and combine work, development and mountain life exactly as you want. With our Fjällifrån pass, you take part in the basic range of activities during the week – pop-up offices with good coffee, try carving, cross-country tours and all workshops. The Fjällifrån pass costs 495 SEK regardless of how long you stay. You add meals according to your wishes (drop-in lunch, dinner is preferably booked the day before). Ski pass and possible ski rental are additional.

Is the idea that I come alone or with colleagues?

Choose what you prefer! Working from the mountains is an incredibly nice way to have time for important conversations with colleagues and at the same time an unbeatable way to get to know new acquaintances. Maybe you do a combo of both? If you are coming as a group who want to share accommodation, you book accommodation as usual on our booking page. If you are coming by yourself and wish to share accommodation, there is a possibility of this if you come Sunday-Sunday (4/1-11/1 or 11/1-18/1). What happens during the Fjällifrån days?

Every day offers different activities. You choose what you want to participate in – everything is voluntary, nothing is a requirement. In addition to the daily schedule below, there is the possibility of booking group or private lessons in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding. If the snow conditions allow, there are also opportunities for guided mountain tours. And if you want to treat yourself to a massage after a day on the slopes, this can be booked at reception. Of course, there is also the possibility of renting our cozy conference room in Forbonden if you want to take the opportunity to confer, plan or delve into questions with an individual group.
