Snowpark, ski cross, free skiing and children's areas - all on the same mountain.

Tänndalen in Funäsfjällen brings together park skiers, powder hunters and families with children in perhaps Sweden's most playful ski area. Here there is speed, imagination and mountain adventure for all ages, from the first turns to the next trick in the park.

Troca Park

Trocaparken is Tänndalen's snow park, located in the middle of the ski area at Buskvallen's valley station. Our dedicated park crew, led by Micke Dabrowski in close collaboration with Snowpark Consulting, ensures that new jumps, rails and creative lines are always emerging. Both those taking their first trips on the box and those chasing the next backflip thrive here.

The park has its own push-button lift, allowing you to focus on your skiing. Artist and snowboarding icon Jonas “The Cat Man” Wilhelmsson has also put his personal touch on the lift posts, making the park even more unique.

Trocaparken is joy, development and park skating with a big heart in Tänndalen.

Children's & youth areas

Ski cross

Our ski cross arena is located in Hamra. Here, fast rollers and gentle curves that tickle your stomach await – built for speed, flow and great duels. Every run is a race, every turn a challenge and every finish a laugh.

Drömskogen

A magical forest full of forest paths and other fun. Perfect for children who want to build confidence on snow and discover skiing in their own way. You can find the Dream Forest in Hamra.

Äventyret

In hill 54 Fäbodsvängen you will find our fun slope, Äventyret. Here, play and fast-paced turns meet on an easy-to-ride green hill. Along the way there are large kardos = perfect high fives at full speed!

Children's area in Hamra

The children's area in Hamra starts the ski trip for many little mountain lovers. Everything is close by: treadmill, children's lift, restaurant and heated cabin. Safe, cozy - and perfect for children and beginners who want to take their first turns in Tänndalen.

Evening skiing

Disco lift, freshly groomed slopes and skiing under the stars. The best evening activity in Tänndalen!

The Hook Forest

Forest skiing, play and safe lifts. Krokskogen is located in the middle of the ski area and is the children's adventure place in Tänndalen. Gentle slopes, fun forest paths, a new treadmill, a new sledding hill and new barbecue areas make the area even more fun this winter. Our mascots Alvar, Lallo and Björna are also waiting here for all the little explorers who want to explore the secrets of the mountains.

Freeride Paradise

Freeride Paradise is located by Lake Svansjön in Tänndalen and offers easily accessible off-piste among sparse mountain birches. Take Lången to the top, keep skiers right and choose your line back towards the lift system. For steeper skiing, a short hike from Tännporten Express up to Storkläppen is enough. Really steep in some places and a gentler slope if you aim for Lake Svansjön.

Remember that all off-piste skiing is done at your own risk. Follow signs, markings and avalanche information.

Pentathlon on the ski slope

Challenge your big brother or mom in a pentathlon! All competitions take place with skis/boards on your feet. Who will win in Skicross, Parallel Slalom, Speed Ski, Self Timer and Long Jump?

Meet us in Krokskogen

Alvar

Alvar is an old and very wise Muskox. He likes to take it easy and doesn't stress himself out unnecessarily. And he has that magical ability that muskox have – to be able to talk to the trees and the stones.

Bears

Björna is a really smart and sometimes quite determined bear cub. She loves everything to do with the forest, the mountains and nature and has a full grasp of plants, animals and different weather. Björna is the one in the group who often gets what she wants!

Lallo

Lallo is a real hothead who always throws himself into adventures without thinking too much. Often it goes well but sometimes it gets a little crazy. But Lallo is always happy and positive which is a good quality, especially when going on adventures.
