At Tänndalen we do our very best to ensure that the children enjoy themselves.

In Tänndalen there is everything for a family-friendly ski holiday with a focus on children's skiing fun. Near the accommodation there are children's areas with conveyor belts, button lifts, forest tracks and playful snow parks. Here, development goes quickly - from the first turns to your own adventures on the slopes.

Krokskogen, Drömskogen and the Children's Area in Hamra are full of characters, gentle slopes and details to discover. Our mascot Bärra Blåbär often appears to play, cheer and create magical mountain memories.

Families who love snow will also find much more than skiing. There are waffle huts, good food, snowmobile tours, sledding and proximity to cross-country trails and mountain tours – everything to make your holiday active, cozy and easy.

Snowparks & children's areas

Speed, imagination and mountain fun for all ages – from the first turn to the next trick in the park. Discover Trocaparken, Äventyret, ski cross, Freeride Paradise and our playful children's areas in Tänndalen.

Pentathlon on the ski slope

Challenge your big brother or mom in a pentathlon! All competitions take place with skis/boards on your feet. Who will win in Skicross, Parallel Slalom, Speed Ski, Self Timer and Long Jump?

Activities

Snow racer

A couple of times a week, just before the lifts close for the day, we take the lift to the top. From there, we steer the snow racers down towards the valley and enjoy the rush of speed.

Berries Blueberries

Our mascot Bärra Blåbär loves to play with all the children in Tänndalen. Do you fancy skiing with him or maybe just giving him a hug? All activities with Bärra Blåbär are fun!

Children's & youth room

In Tänndalen there are playrooms for younger children in Krokstugan and at Ski Lodge. On the second floor of Ski Lodge there is also a youth room with video games, mini cinema, ping pong and board games – perfect for breaks from skiing and new mountain friends.

Meet us in Krokskogen

Alvar

Alvar is an old and very wise Muskox. He likes to take it easy and doesn't stress himself out unnecessarily. And he has that magical ability that muskox have – to be able to talk to the trees and the stones.

Björna

Björna is a really smart and sometimes quite determined bear cub. She loves everything to do with the forest, the mountains and nature and has a full grasp of plants, animals and different weather. Björna is the one in the group who often gets what she wants!

Lallo

Lallo is a real hothead who always throws himself into adventures without thinking too much. Often it goes well but sometimes it gets a little crazy. But Lallo is always happy and positive which is a good quality, especially when going on adventures.
